Educare Institute of Dental Sciences has made strategic tie ups with Internationally renowned Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (BUGSDM), a rare privilege that distinguishes this institute from other dental colleges in Kerala.
Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry was founded in 1963 under the leadership of Dean Henry. M. Goldman. In 1996 this school was renamed ‘Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine’ (BUGSDM) to better reflect the scope of the school’s education, research, patient care and community missions. The tie up with BUGSDM will facilitate the following:
* Access to Medical Library: Students and staff at Educare Institute of Dental Sciences will be afforded access to the Boston University Medical Library, one of the largest in the world, on-line for research, training and scholarship purpose.
* Visiting Scholar Program: BUGSDM will host a limited number of scholars and students for short visit to BUGSDM and Boston. The purpose of this program is to familiarize the students with pre and post-doctoral programs at BUGSDM
* Continuing Dental Education (CDE): BUGSDM will provide faculty speakers for didactic sessions of CDE programs.
* Site Visit: To facilitate the provision of the foregoing, BUGSDM faculty will conduct site visits to Educare Institute of Dental Sciences at mutually convenient times.
* Graduate Student Research: BUGSDM faculty will act as co-mentors with Educare Institute of Dental Sciences faculty for graduate students.
* Clinical Research Protocols: BUGSDM will provide advice in the design, execution, and performance of clinical research protocols for multi-center studies based on experience at the BUGSDM Clinical Research Center. |
